This is our second 7 in 1 Masterbuilt grill. Was so glad to find it online since my husband is the big griller in our family. The first one was on it's last legs but we were still using it. [...] Thanks for making this great grill available.

Used for first time over weekend; outside temperature of 15 degrees! Used only charcoal as heat source and had a hard time holding 225 F. Smoked a whole chicken and bonless pork ribs; everything tasted wonderful. I am looking forward to learning the ins and outs of smoking. Masterbuilt 7 in 1 is a great product.

We gril all year, even in the snowy winter. This is the second Masterbuilt grill we have purchased. The first one finally began to show it's use after three years. I decided it was a good Christmas present for my husband since he does all the grilling. Will probably buy another one in a few years when this one begins to show it's age. The old one still works great just has a few problems, mainly the charcoal pan has burnt through. Could have replaced just that part but decided to just buy a new one. Thanks for making a great Christmas for hubby. R.K.

This is an excellent smoker as far as I am concerned. I have slow smoked over coal and though there is a bit more flavor with the coals I find the consistency of temperature and ease of use preferable. I have only used the smoker once so far. I did a 12pound turkey over oak chips. The only problem I ran into was replenishing smoking chips as there is little room between the water bowl and the bowl that the chips are put in. I am sure that with practice it will be easier. FYI I brined the turkey overnight in water, a cup of salt, pound of honey and vegie broth. This is a recipe from Alton Brown of Food Network fame. After brining the bird and smoking is at 200 degrees for about five hours it came out PERFECT.

Very sturdy unit, well built, with airflow control and numerical thermometer. Able to keep temp at 250 Degrees F without much trouble using propane.
