The grill seems to be very sturdy and built with high grade components. It does heat up fast and does seem to sear meat very well. However, I've only used it once. I'm still trying to figure out if the low heat setting actually is low. It might be too hot to leave a piece of chicken too long on low. Time will tell.

The delivery did not seem prompt at all. Seems it took longer than even the estimate, to the point that I almost called to see where it was.

I purchased this grill for use on my boat after getting many recommendations, but had never used one. I have done fish, vegetables, corn, and burgers so far and everything has come out great! The burgers are the best you'll ever have if you like them med-med rare like I do. You get a nice crisp on the outside and great pink on the inside. I can't wait to do steaks. If you are looking for a grill to slowly grill something until it is well done, this is probably not for you, because this sucker gets HOT! I love it so far!

I'd buy it again !!!!!

So far - Great Rib Eyes and Pork Chops. I have been very disappointed with the "closed cover" Gas Weber's. Steaks are tough and dry. This grill chars the outside and leaves the inside moist and tender. Next I'll grill a New York - that's the real test because today's meats are too lean by design

Solaire grill provides excellent tasting food and works great. I would highly recommend this product over those slightly cheaper models that are available on the market. Very strong stainless steel construction and performance to match. You get what you pay for and this grill is living proof!

Used the grill for the first time and fell in love with it. The couple who were camping with us are going to buy one also. No complaints about the cooking ability of this grill. Very hot but not unmanageable. It is worth a few extra bucks! If they could figure out an easy way to clean this then it would be perfect. Still worth every penny.

I was a little put out when I ordered I received an email saying it would be deliver 2 weeks later, but within a day or two another email came out saying it had departed the warehouse. Easy to assemble, great searing and portable, heats up fast, The only problem I noticed is it does not have a drip pan. Which will make cleaning very difficult. I guess I didn't do enough research. For the price of this grill compared to less expensive grills I took for granted it would have a pan.
