Great for the 2 of us and would probably work for 4. Love that if is starts raining I can pick it up and move it to the garage. Want to get some of the other pieces like the grill. Would recommend it for people who live in apartment with small decks and want to grill or for people living in snow states because it works great it the garage.

Was purchased as an alternative cooking source in the event of power loss. It is so unique it makes me want to share it's attributes with everyone and it's just fun finding out how much it can actually do. The economy of 8 charcoal briquetts versus half a bag to do the same thing is really a bonus. Love it!

We just got the Cobb Grill and have only used it a couple of times. We've grilled a pork loin and a beef roast. They both turned out great! Moist and flavorful.

The main reason we bought the grill was for camping. It's compact size makes it easy to store in out small camper. We put a few Zip-Lock plastic bags containing charcoal and a fire starter inside the grill, ready to use when we set it out at the campsite.

We're looking forward to many years of easy cooking and great food from our Cobb Grill.

The Cobb Grill in ActionI received my Cobb Premier Grill as promised and put it through "the paces" with simple things. Things, I have a lot of experience cooking. It is indeed a grill anyone can cook on. It seems quite forgiving of small grilling errors. It imparts the mildest smokey taste I've experienced on a grill and is easy to clean. It is amazing to be able to set that much heat on a table top. It is probably the best engineered grill on the market and functions well as a small oven. No temperature control, not even a thermometer, needs too many options to make it useable. Hard to clean. Used it twice and the teflon coating is blistering already. Poor instructions. Thought I'd buy 3 more for my grown kids. Haven't found anything that it cooks well yet. It's an ok size for 2, maybe I'll find something that it cooks good enough to buy more. Not very hopeful, all the extra options drive the already high price up even more.

This is a great unit for the road. it requires very little charcoal for a great outcome. It comes in a nice carrying case and is easy to store. if there is any drawback, it is that to get it spotlessly clean you will need a full size sink.
Overall this is a great little grill!

Love the design, its compactness and efficient use of fuel.

Cleaning could be improved. It's awkward to clean out the ashes as that piece is attached to the well.

I'm still learning to use this. Getting it hot enough to sear is a challenge for someone impatient. But the smoky flavor is to die for. Works especially well on chicken, which needs a slower flame. Love cooking potatoes in the well with stock. But getting the stock out (using a bulb baster) is tricky, and keeping it ash-free is trickier. Grilled veggies the other night and ate them as they came off, hot and smoky. Really good!

I've only cooked on this twice: chicken thighs and butterflied lamb. It worked superbly. The baby potatoes that I scattered in the well came out scrumptious. It uses very little charcoal, but as someone used to the speed of heating of a gas grill, it's slow. On the other hand, during this heat wave, it's great to cook outdoors instead of heating up the house. I'm looking forward to trying it out as a searing surface. One of the best features is the whole shebang can go in the dishwasher. Real time-saver.

This is my 2nd Cobb, and they are fantastic for on-the-road rv'ing. easy to carry with a minimum of fuel, and relatively easy to clean. better than propane grills and just as good at results.

I love the grill. It is just the right size. The portability is great and it cooks faster and more evenly than a regular grill. I like that I only use a few coals which is much more economical.

This cooked perfect salmon the first try as well as potatoes and grilled veggies. So easy and with 8 pieces of charcoal. We have used it 3 times now and probably won't use our gas grill except for crowds. Love it and love being able to wash almost everything in the diswasher too!

Got this last week for our survivalist camping experiences, but quickly found it to be great for home cooking! It grills perfect salmon, sliced potatoes and veggies! I used 8 pieces of charcoal, but could have only used 6 on the above. No chef could have had a better meal. I am so ready for the cookbook to arrive along with all the other accessories. I will be using this little Cobb all the time!

I knew the grill was small but I also needed a grill of that size. Great searing capability. I am adding the griddle, wok and dome extender next. This weekend I'm going to smoke some babyback ribs and I plan on roasting some corn.
The only problem I am having is finding an easier way to clean the unit. That's the only reason it got 4 stars instead of 5.

I love the Cobb Grill's features and convenience. However, for cleaning purposes I suggest the Use of "Barkeeper's Friend" for a complete cleaning of the reservoir and dome. I like to use smoking chips and savor long and slow cooking.
